Subject: Request for Grant / Partnership Support

It is my pleasure to introduce Sustainable Development for Vulnerable Peoples in Bangladesh (SDVPB), a government‑registered NGO established in 1999, with UN ECOSOC consultative status since 2017. Our mission is to empower vulnerable communities through digital literacy, health equity, and youth empowerment.

Track Record of Impact

• Trained over 5,000 youth in ICT skills since 2007, many now employed or self‑reliant.
• Conducted free eye camps serving nearly 10,000 patients.
• Distributed books and established science labs to strengthen education access.
• Recognized with national and international awards, including the Sir Jagadish Chandra Basu Gold Medal (2020), and shortlisted for the eNGO Challenge Award (2022–2023).
• Partnered with Microsoft, Asia Foundation, Rotary, Partners Worldwide, and other respected organizations.

Proposed Initiative We seek partnership to scale our flagship Digital Literacy & Economic Empowerment Program, aiming to train 1,000,000 unemployed youth across Bangladesh within five years. This initiative will expand ICT training centers, link graduates to jobs and entrepreneurship, and prioritize women’s empowerment.

Funding Request We respectfully request consideration for a grant or partnership support of €150,000 to expand training facilities, strengthen curriculum delivery, and enhance monitoring systems.
